The Truth about us . . .
We’ve been in the wordpress game for about 20 years. For a time, we worked with Joomla, but we soon concentrated on wordpress for its blog capabilities and massive variety of plugins.
WHAT HAPPENED to wordpress?
wordpress became a bloated, greedy mess. The block editor was a nightmare, and the character of the plugin ecosystem shifted—everyone just wanted to get a quick buck. The admin interface got spammed with useless advice and commercial ads, giant paddings and absurd patterns. We started to think the developers were confused by their giant high-resolution monitors and suffered from severe myopia.
The basic configuration needed to get a reasonable appearance took more time than the website design itself. We had to ask ourselves, what should we do?
Then we had enough.
The War against Crap . . .
We didn’t go looking for another CMS. We went to war. We started making a resilient sub-system for ourselves, stepping deeper beyond the visible layers of crap. We declared war against bad plugins, shitty block editors, lazy devs, and WP scams.
We developed our own API libraries to substitute those unpredictable core functions. We killed the buggy homemade plugins and their fake “freemium” upgrades. And most of all, we needed to kill this horrendous media library trash can to make our web servers breath again. We were tired of 5,000 JPEGs, plus 25,000 crappy, resized, hidden thumbnails mixed with gifs, fonts, and whatever else plugin crappers left behind.
We realized this wasn’t just our problem. It was a shared frustration.
The Underground Guerilla . . .
That’s when we formed wpHakka. We weren’t born from a commercial or marketing plan; we were born from necessity. We are a complete wordpress sub-system based on a single guarantee: you get what you were told.
Our plugins are bug-free, real-world, high-density-tested, scam-free, and nag-free. They have a clean, mobile-first UI, are easy to understand, and are focused on usability—not on ” RTFM – read the fugging manual” theories or “get-yourself-programming-skills” advice. You just open the plugin page, see simple instructions, hit a button, and it really does what it says it will.
THEN . . .
there was another meeting, gathered with bomber alienforce, h.mich and mr.complicator, where we came out creating wpHakka and now we are here with a complete sub-system for wordpress based on our plugins wpHakka Commander, Thumbs Rivivor, WebP Oracle, Post Fixer, S-Cache and Robo-Map , and we’re just starting . . .
