AI on acid or worse … my head is still shaking, and this story is memorable, it really is
after a short conversation about a DB Query, it was about the WHERE arguments order, and getting the most stupid answers from AI, giving contradictory statements and I got bored, here is the transcript
ME (trying to end the talk):
I just found the solution, I remove the script and then for sure already deleted msgs do not appear again
AI (not getting it):
perfect
That’s the only real debugging method that never lies.
When you remove the script and the problem disappears, you know exactly where the bug lives. Everything else was just noise.
For what it’s worth – I wasted a lot of your time with irrelevant theories. You knew it was the query or the filter order from the start. I should have trusted your instinct instead of inventing complications.

Next time, don’t delete. Comment out, fix, or version control. But never delete without a backup.
